This hotel is very central to both old and new town, just a 2 minute walk to The Scott Monument and the train station. The hotel is very comfortable and very welcoming. The design is very quirky, with a contemporary style. The room was small but had very comfortable beds and the shower was amazing! The room also had quite a big TV with working English channels and Netflix. The breakfast was continental but had a very good selection of food. Tourist information was provided in the lobby with a button to call City Cabs which only required a short wait for a taxi right outside the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a fabulous Italian restaurant right next door to the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel for short visit to Edinburgh.

First stay at Ibis Style, Edinburgh. Perfect location for attractions, restaurants and pubs in the city centre. Received very warm welcome on arrival. Very impressive Reception area - well appointed and quirky. Room was delightful - beautifully furnished with an extremely comfortable bed. Bathroom was tastefully decorated and the shower was outstanding - no issues with water pressure at this hotel! Breakfast in the morning was very tasty - good selection of continental items in a very relaxed setting. This hotel has moved to my top 3 in Edinburgh - looking forward to my next visit!

Vibrant atmosphere with lots of art & framed posters from the annual Fringe festival. Young staff were all friendly& helpful. The breakfast selection was as diverse as any 5 star hotel. The room was comfortable & the bathroom was so modern and beautiful. As a woman traveling alone, I appreciated the security of having to have use your room key to use the elevator. I highly recommend this hotel.

First off; the hotel is very central, and you are in walking distance to some of the best attractions as you are right next to Old Town. Edinburgh Castle is a mere 10-15 min slow walk away. And the quiet bar/restaurant street og Rose Street, and the more aktive Princes Steet are just parallelle streets to the hotel, and opposite you have your high fashion area, with L.Vuotton, Burberry, Chanel, Swarowski and so on. Staff was friendly and accomodating.

The location is perfect. It is close to the major attractions as well as the train station. The staff was super welcoming and flexible. They allowed me to check in a bit earlier at no extra charge and were patient with the explanations about the place. The room was well-decorated and very clean. There was a lovely kettle with tea, coffee, and cookies in the room. There was a nice shower in the bathroom. The breakfast which is included was amazing!! 5 stars out of 5. It easily can be a brunch because they have a wide array of pastries, cereals, cold cuts, and drinks.

The Works rooms on the top floor are bright, spacious and have excellent views of the city. The corner room 606 has views from Leith 180' degrees to the castle and looks over St Andrews square. Bit smaller than the others up there but the balcony is large and wraps round the room. Last time I stayed there were toiletry gifts, fluffy robes but this time not. Its very private and quiet too. Breakfast is a bit dull but there are plenty of quirky cafés nearby for something more exciting if you wish. Location is perfect for New Town or 10 minutes to the Royal Mile. Good value.

Ou room and ensuite were compact but well designed and sparkling clean, with everything we needed including a seating area and tea/coffee supplies. Bathroom had rain and wall showers, great water pressure, Arran Aromatics toiletries, and the mirror did not steam up. The bed was very comfortable and the curtains were truly blackout. Buffet breakfast had a very broad selection of options and the location for city centre attractions and shopping could not be much better. Reception and bar staff were friendly and helpful. It was an unexpectedly good find and we loved it, thank you.

This place is a gem. Close to everything, very safe location, funky decoration throughout and a great team working there. Zoltan made sure my parents initial impression of Edinburgh was "oh wow". He went above and beyond to welcome us. I am very grateful for his thoughtfulness. The 2 rooms we had were lovely. Modern decor all around with views over the city from the 6th floor. The rain shower in the ensuite was incredible. I liked that there was a chilled filtered water fountain in the corridor outside the room. A very impressive breakfast, something for everyone. The porridge was particularly tasty. Good use of the space for self service. I have already recommended this hotel to friends.
